What we've been up to

We've been climbing, cooking and done some archery.


Recently, the Cubs have been to Drum Hill for a weekend camp

 

We  have also been to the District Bonfire night at Spitewinter

 

And also we've been back up to Spitewinter to do some backwoods cooking! 

Projects & Challenges

The Cubs can get involved in many Projects and Challenges nowadays.

For a Camp


IF YOUR CUB REQUIRES ANY MEDICATION MAKE SURE THEY BRING WITH THEM AND PLEASE LET US KNOW


Carrying Gear


Large Rucksack / Bag 

(big enough to get it all in)

Bin bags (for dirty, wet clothes)       


Clothes

T-Shirts

Trousers and shorts

Jogging bottoms

Hoodies / Jumpers

Swimming things

Nightwear

Waterproofs  

(nothing showerproof, it’s a waste of time)

Waterproof jacket  

(to take in day sack)

Gloves (just in case)

Hat (sun hat / baseball hat etc)


Hygiene


Wash Kit (his or hers, fully loaded)

Shampoo  /   Shower gel   / Tissues

Large Towel

T-Towel (s) (for washing up, oh yes)

Old Trainers (for canoeing)

(can be the ones being worn to travel)

Sleeping bag

Camp blanket

Roll mat / Self inflating mat

Small pillow

Sun cream

Mosquito repellent
